Burgers have been pleasing consumers’ palates worldwide for decades.
There are also people willing to establish different burger records.
Here are some of them, which have entered the Guinness Book of Records.

The world’s largest burger was created in 2017, in Germany.
It weighed more than a ton, at 1164.2 kg
The ingredients used to prepare it would suffice to produce 3000 standard burgers.
After beating the record, it became a free snack for the event observers.

The highest-calorie burger available on the menu belongs to the Heart Attack Grill restaurant in Las Vegas, USA and was established on 13 April 2012.
The “Quadruple Bypass Burger” served there weighed almost one and a half kilograms, at 9982 kcal.
The multi-storey sandwich consists of a minimum of
of 8 patties and 40 pieces of bacon.

The most expensive burger to enter into the Guinness Book of Records was crafted in the USA by Juicys Foods.
The record was established on 2 July 2011.
A 352.44 kg burger was sold for $5,000.

Harry Sperla, who has made the largest collection of items related to burgers, is considered to be the largest burger fan.
The collection at the time of the record in 2014 was 3724 items.
